Whether you're managing stress or anxiety, dealing with difficult life experiences (like loss or relationship issues), or feel you don't 'fit' in the world, counselling can help.

Talking to a professional like me can help you discover greater self-awareness, develop coping skills, and improve your emotional and psychological well-being.

Engaging in therapy is an investment - a chance to change things, to heal and grow so you can feel happier in the present and more positive about the future.

Work with me and benefit from:

  • A safe, confidential space where you can explore issues and challenges freely, without judgement.

  • An integrative therapeutic approach tailored to your unique circumstances and therapy goals.

  • Regular reviews to reflect on what's working well and address any problems or obstacles to progress.

  • Professional, industry-recognised training and qualifications and commitment to the BACP Ethical Framework.

  • Public and professional indemnity insurance - details available on request.

Fiona Sykes Counsellor

Counselling sessions

Where

I offer face-to face counselling in the High Peak and Cheshire areas (Bramhall, Poynton and Marple). I also offer online counselling during UK day time hours (9am to 6pm) using Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.

When

Sessions are 50 minutes and I recommend clients attend on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for therapy to be effective. Week days only.  Fees available on enquiry - payment is required 24 hours before each session begins.

Still unsure?

It's natural to feel nervous or apprehensive about counselling. So I offer a free, no obligation 15 minute telephone consultation where you can ask questions about me - and counselling in general - and I can assess whether we are a good fit for each other.
